Blades of Glory is an American film comedy about figure skating by Josh Gordon and Will Speck from 2007.
In the fictional World Winter Games 2002, the common single skating champion Chazz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy brawl because of a forever of the individual competitions of the men are ruled out. After dreineinhalb years they decide to put their differences aside and join forces, by exploiting a loophole in the rules. It turns out that there is a category in which they may take two: the pairs skating. This event is usually reserved for opposite-sex couples, and both expect a lot of competition. The brother-sister team of Stranz and Fairchild Van mountain forest, which is the hitherto undisputed winner of the pairs skating team, also part of the competition. The Van Berg's forests will stop at nothing to eliminate the two rivals.
