Nightmare Before Christmas (German for example: The nightmare before Christmas) a stop-motion film by Touchstone Pictures, based on a story by Tim Burton, from the year 1993. Although Burton was involved as a producer on the development of the film, he brought forward a widespread error is not even directing. Director of the film was Henry Selick.

Regaining consciousness Jack recognizes the mistake he has committed. He deplored the suffering that he has brought others, but most of all the misfortunes that came upon him. In complete self-pity he wants to be dead, buried and mourned.
But then remembers his role as Jack Pumpkin King and Lord of the ghost. It's not too late to free Santa Claus so that Christmas will save and reclaim one's own role in the world Halloweens. He stomps full of them new thirst for action.

On 20 Disney in October 2006 brought out a revised version of Industrial Light and Magic in 3-D, which was shown in selected cinemas. In conjunction with the 3D re-release of the film from Disney was four days later, published a special double-CD soundtrack. Then play artists such as Fall Out Boy, Marilyn Manson, Panic at the Disco, Fiona Apple, Amy Lee, Flyleaf, Rise Against, Korn, and She Wants Revenge cover versions of original pieces of film.
